Aloo Bread Chaat recipe आलू ब्रेड चाट is an Indian recipe perfect for tasteful dinner.

Aloo Bread Chaat is the appetizing recipe among the chat list and famous all over the Asian countries. It is mostly had in the evening time and is healthy and tasty street food. The best part of Aloo bread chaat is that it is stomach tightening snack as it is the fusion food of Bread, gram flour and potatoes.

Aloo Bread Chaat आलू ब्रेड चाट, That definitely taste yummy………


Following are the ingredients required for Aloo Bread Chaat –

  • Bread slices
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Green chutney
  • Tamarind chutney
  • Chopped onions
  • Chopped tomatoes
  • Pomegranate seeds
  • coriander leaves
  • Sev
  • Mint leaves

Potato Filling

  • 1 cup boiled & smashed potatoes
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1/2 tbsp chopped green leaves
  • 1 tbsp chopped curry leaves
  • 1 tbsp chopped Garlic
  • 1 tbsp chopped Ginger
  • 1/2 tbsp Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp Turmaric powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Red chilly powder
  • 1 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp Black pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp Coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste

Gram Flour Batter

  • 2 tbsp Gram Flour/Besan
  • 1 tbsp carom seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • Water to make a thin paste

Its time for preparing Potato Filling….

Firstly boiled the potatoes and let it cool for few minutes

Then heat a pan and add 2 tbsp oil in it.

Add mustard seeds, Cumin seeds, chopped green chillies, chopped curry leaves and stir for a minutes.

Then add chopped garlic, chopped ginger and then chopped onion, cook the onion by adding salt until they slightly brown.

Now start the seasoning by add 1 tbsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder, 1 tbsp coriander powder then finally 1 tbsp black pepper powder.

Garnish with coriander leaves.

Preparation of Gram Flour Batter

Take a bowl add 2 tbsp gram flour/besan, 1 tbsp carom seeds, salt to taste.

By adding water make a thin batter.

It should be a dosa consistency.

Aloo Bread Chaat Preparation

Take two bread slices, on one bread slice add 1 tbsp potato filling and spread it evenly all over the bread and place the other bread slice over it.

Now dip the whole bread slices into the gram flour batter and then deep fry the whole bread slice.

Place the bread on the tissue paper to observe the excess oil.

Now start the plating of Aloo Bread chaat.

Place the Aloo bread slice in a plate and cut the bread into small pieces.

Apply green chutney on the bread slice.

Now apply Tamarind chutney, then garnish with finely chopped onion, then chopped tomatoes, chopped coriander and then sev.

Now ALOO BREAD CHAAT is ready to serve then eat.
