Veg Cabbage Stir Fry Recipe

Children may not eat curries but they are very fond of stir fry vegetables as they taste very good rather than a normal curry. All vegetable become yummy and tasty after frying. Few vegetables like cabbage, many people hate eating as it gives little different aroma after cooking, so if we stir fry the cabbage everyone will love to eat it in your family. Cabbage Stir Fry goes well with Rice, Chapati, Paratha and Khichadi. So here we go with Cabbage Stir Fry Recipe [Curry] or even you can call it as Cabbage sabji or gobi sabzi if you are from India. In India you can call it as गोभी की सब्जी.

Ingredients Required

1 Cup Sliced Cabbage
4-5 medium size Green Chilies
5-6 Curry Leaves
1 tbsp Carom seeds/ Ajwani
1 tbsp Turmeric powder
4-5 Garlic Cloves(Optional)
1 tbsp Coriander powder
1/2 tbsp Jeera
1/4 tbsp Hing
To fry Oil
 As per Taste Salt

Preparation Method

  • First, cut the cabbage into slices.
  • ON the gas stove and heat oil in a heavy based pan.
  • As the oil get heated add Jeera, Carom seeds, and Hing to the oil.
  • Now add green chilies and curry leaves.
  • Then Add the sliced Cabbage.
  • Fry the cabbage until it’s soft.
  • Add chopped Garlic & Turmeric as per requirement.
  • Stir fry cabbage and add salt as require.
  • Garnish with coriander and Cabbage fry is ready to serve.
