Fancy Paratha Ingredients

Dough Ingredients

1 Cup wheat flour

1 tbsp oil

1 tbsp turmeric powder

1 tbsp Green chili paste

1/2 cup Coriander leaves

1 tbsp Sesame seeds

salt to taste

water to knead the dough

Stuffing Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Boiled & Smashed Potatoes
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1/4 tbsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tbsp Asafoetida
  • 1 tbsp Green chilies, Garlic & Ginger paste
  • 1/2 Onion (optional)
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp garam masala powder

Other Ingredients

Finely chopped Onions

Finely chopped Tomatoes

Sev

Coriander

Fancy Paratha Preparation

Dough Preparation

Take a bowl and add 1 cup wheat flour.

Now add all the dough ingredients to the flour.

knead a fine dough by adding water to it.

Let it rest for some time.

Stuffing Preparation

Take a pan and add 2 tbsp oil to it.

After the oil is heated then add Cumin seeds, Asafoetida, Green chilly, Ginger & Garlic paste.

Add onion and fry till they are brown

Then add Turmeric powder, coriander powder, and garam masala.

Now add boiled and smashed potatoes to the mixture.

Garnish with Coriander leaves.

Paratha Preparation

Place a non-stick tava on the gas stove and let it heat.

Make small balls of the dough.

From each ball roll a roti of it.

Now take a spoon of stuffing and start filling from the half of the roti.

Make a line of the stuffing, then a line of chopped onion, again a line of chopped Tomatoes.

The lines should be thin. On that three lines add coriander leaves and sev.

Now with the other half close the stuffed roti and seal it.

Place the stuffed roti on the pre-heated non-stick tava.

On low flame fry the paratha with oil on both sides.

Prepare all the fancy parathas like this and serve it hot with Curd or Tomato ketchup or Green Chutney.
