Getting up in the morning and preparing breakfast is a big task and on that preparing a special dish for your child tiffin and also for family members is time-consuming. so mostly we prefer the breakfast dishes which consume less time and are healthy for the child and family members. Bread Upma Recipe is one such quickly made breakfast dish.

We prefer less time-consuming dish in the morning but taste matter more that time. so it is very difficult to get a dish with taste as well as less time consumption. There are a very limited dish to be prepared very quickly and tastes very well like Poha, Roti upma and few more.

So, here we came up with such dish Healthy + Tasty + Less Preparation Time. Bread Upma, the best breakfast dish, quick and healthy for our loved ones.

Preparation of  Bread Upma

Ingredients

  • 1 – Bread packet only Sandwich bread
  • 1 – medium size Onion
  • 2 tbsp –  Groundnuts
  • 1 tbsp – Urad dal
  • 1 tbsp – Chana dal
  • 3 pic – Green chili
  • 1 stem – Curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp – Lemon juice or Tamarind pulp
  • 2 tsp – sugar
  • 1 tsp – Mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp – cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp – Hing( Asafoetida)
  • 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp – Coriander powder
  • 2 tbsp – oil
  • salt to taste

Method to prepare Bread Upma

Here is how to prepare Bread Upma recipe –

  1. Take a bread slice from the bread packet and cut it into pieces
  2. Make 6 to 8 pieces from each bread slice average of 1 inch.
  3. Now add oil in a pan and wait till it gets heated.
  4. Now start with tempering add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and hing.
  5. Add groundnut, urad dal, chana dal and roast till they are brown.
  6. Then add green chilli and curry leaves.
  7. Now add finely chopped Onion and fry till they are slightly brown.
  8. Then add salt, turmeric powder, dhaniya powder. lemon juice and sugar and mix the mixture well.
  9. Now add the cut bread pieces to the mixture and mix properly.
  10. Remember to sim the gas stove while mixing the bread, if not it will stick to the vessel.

Note : To make these bread Upma more juice add tamarind pulp not lemon juice, but the tamarind pulp should be thick.
