All most in all the Indian houses pickles are prepared once in a year, it might be in summer or in spring. Pickles are of many varieties prepared with different vegetables and fruits. But when ever our mother talks about the pickle, the only thing strikes in our mind is raw mango pickle. Raw mango pickles are prepare in many ways some are sweet and other are spicy and hot. After preparing pickles it takes few days to get mixed with the flavors spices add to the pickle to get the actual taste.
But in this article i’m going to prepare instant pickle to be eaten soon after preparation. This Instant raw mango pickle can only store for a week.
Instant Raw Mango Pickle
Ingredients to prepare pickle
- 3 medium sized Mangoes
- 2 tbsp Mustard seeds
- 3 Dry Red chills
- 1/2 tbps Fenugreek seeds/Methi seeds
- 2 tbsp Red chill powder
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
Method to make the pickle
- Chop the mango into very small pieces
- Add Salt to it and keep aside and let it rest for few minutes.
- Now in a pan dry roast mustard seeds, dry red chills and Fenugreek seeds for sometime.
- Then make the fine powder of it.
- Now add the powder to the chopped mango and mix it well.
- Then add red chill powder to it and mix properly.
- Now add oil to the mango and the instant raw mango pickle is ready to serve.
