How to Prepare Restaurant Style Veg Manchurian, the Chinese Vegetable Manchurian.

These days Chinese recipes are very famous all over the world, as they are healthy as well as tasty. All most all the Chinese dishes are the fusion of a variety of vegetables and other main ingredients. As they are spicy they are tasty, people love to eat them. Among Chinese recipe famous dishes are chow mein, Vegetables Manchurian, Noodles, Veg-Crispy, Schezwan Fried Rice, Spring Rolls, Garlic Soya Chicken and many more.

Veg Manchurian

In this article I’m going to prepare Vegetable Manchurian a Chinese stater dish prepared with vegetables and all purpose flour and its  very healthy and tasty. If your children are not eating any vegetables then this dish is prefect for them.

Preparation Time : 1 Hours

Ingredients For Vegetable Manchurian Balls

1 1/2 cup Vegetables(Cabbage, Beans, Carrot, Capsicum)
1 cup Maida/ All purpose flour
2 tbsp Corn flour
1 tsp Baking powder(optional)
2 tbsp China salt/Ajinomoto
2 tbsp Chilly sauce
2 tbsp Soy sauce
3 tbsp Tomato sauce
1 tbsp Ground Black Pepper powder
As to taste Salt
To Combine the flour & Vegetables water

Step by step method to prepare

Take a bowl add Both the flour, baking powder and salt, then sieve it once to remove the small ball of flour or germs.

Now add finely chopped all the vegetables(Cabbage, Beans, Carrot, Capsicum) into the flour.

Add chilly sauce, Soya sauce and tomato sauce to the flour.

Then add black pepper powder and China salt.

Mix all the mixture very well by add little water.

Add water if necessary and make a bhajiya like batter.

At last add 1 tbsp hot oil to the batter and mix it well. This will give a not sticky as well as crispness to the Manchurian balls.

Heat oil in a pan for deep frying the manchurian balls.

Wet your hand with water and start making Manchurian balls and deep frying it.

Deep fry the ball till they are golden brown and then remove the ball from the oil.

Shift the ball to a butter-paper to observe excess oil.

Now the Manchurian ball are ready.

Ingredients For Manchurian Sauce (gravy)

1 tbsp Oil
1 large Onion finely chopped
1 1/2 tbsp Finely chopped Garlic
1 1/2 tbsp finely chopped Ginger
1 tbsp Chilly Sauce
2 tbsp Soy sauce
1 cup Tomato sauce
To taste salt/Ajinomoto
1 tsp Black pepper powder
1/2 cup water

Step by step method to prepare Sauce

Add 2 tbsp oil in a pan a let it get heated.

Now add hing, chopped ginger, chopped garlic and saute for a second.

Now add chopped onion and fry till slightly brown.(your can also add spring onion whites)

Optional you can also add other vegetables but only 1 tbsp.

Now add chills sauce, soy sauce and then tomato sauce and mix the mixture well.

Add salt and black pepper powder.

Now add 1/2 cup water to make the gravy thin.

Cook the sauce for few minutes and add the Manchurian ball to the gravy/sauce.

Mix them well so that the Manchurian ball are well coated with the gravy.

Garnish with coriander leaves or with chopped spring onions.

Serve Veg-Manchurian with onion and tomato ketchup and I am sure your husband and other family members will love it.
